Q. Do I have to pay any fees to become a researcher-writer?
A. No! Quite unusually - we pay you!

Q. What skills/experience do I need?
A. You will need the ability to search out the key information that our customers are looking for on a particular subject. Our information products identify the reader's problems and provide potential solutions.

Therefore you will need to first carry out detailed research and then write up the answers in a clear, structured and easy to read style.

Q. How/where will the information books be sold?
A. Information products will be either sold as "hard copy" manuals/books etc, delivered by mail or re structured as "e-books", delivered via internet download to customer's computer to view and/or print.

Some products will be aimed at the UK market, many others to the international market.

Q. What sales levels do you expect?
A. It will largely depend on the size of the overall market and the quality and usefulness of the information we provide.

Some books could sell less than a hundred copies, some several thousand, some many thousands!

The very best information books sell hundreds of thousands of copies!

The truth is, no-one can be sure how many times a book will sell at the outset! If only!


Q. What will I be paid?
A. There will be differences in each project we undertake. Simply speaking the more sales we create, the more our researcher-writers will earn.

For example only

A researcher-writer produces a 40 page (approx 10,000 words) information book. For this, Freeway Publishing will pay a flat fee of £200 plus agreed additional research expenses, where appropriate.

In addition we pay you a royalty payment of between 50p - £1.00 per book sold for a period of 24 months following publication. If we assume the book sells well and 2000 copies are sold in a 24 month period, the researcher-writer would receive an additional £1000 - £2000 in royalties, paid quarterly. (Note: all sales figures will be verified).

These figures are given as an example only; you could earn less than or more than this example.

In return Freeway Publishing Ltd will be granted an exclusive licence by the researcher-writer to market and sell the information product worldwide for an unlimited period.

Q. Will I become an employee of Freeway Publishing Ltd?
A. No. All our researcher-writers will be freelance and as such, will be fully responsible for their own national insurance, income tax, and other personal expenses.

Q. Does it matter where I live or what hours I can work?
A. No. As Long as you have access to a computer and the internet, you can work where you like and when you like, providing you meet our agreed deadlines.
